The proceedings of the Lok Sabha for the third consecutive day also fell on the issue of farmer agitation. The opposition turned to the demand for a discussion on new agricultural laws rather than a discussion on the President's address.
Speaker Om Birla, who was angry over the commotion in Vail while proposing to speak on the issue during the zero hours, also warned of action against opposition MPs. The house was adjourned for the third time till nine o'clock after being adjourned twice due to opposition uproar.
As soon as the proceedings started, MPs of several parties including Congress, TMC, and AAP started shouting slogans in the well. The speaker said that he would give all the members a chance to speak on it during zero hours. On this, Aam Aadmi Party MP Bhagwant Mann said that these laws have been discussed many times. In such a situation, there is no other option than to withdraw these laws.
Joshi's attack on opposition
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi said that there was a meeting with the opposition on this issue. All opposition leaders were ready to discuss the President's address. After this, suddenly opposition MPs are creating a ruckus here. This is not right.
