Telangana: Kalpavanam urban forest park opened in Gajwel
An urban forest park spread over 117 hectares developed at a cost of Rs 7.43 crore was inaugurated in Sangapur village of Gajwel mandal in Telangana's Siddipet on Thursday. Finance minister T Harish Rao and environment and forests minister A Indrakaran Reddy inaugurated the ‘Kalpavanam urban forest park’ in which a globe has been installed with the slogan ‘Save Forest Save Earth’. The forest park has a watch tower, an open gym, a play area for children and other facilities for visitors.

Police have revealed that several inter-state treasure trove gangs are on the prowl between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. During the interrogation of the seven-member treasure trove gang involved in vandalising the Nandi idol of Makapet Kasi Visweswara temple, police personnel learnt that several inter-state treasure trove gangs are operating across the Telugu states.
