Governor Koshyari urges tribals to take benefit of different developmental schemes

Nashik, Feb 3 (UNI) Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari on Wednesday exhorted the tribals to take advantage of different schemes that are being implemented for their development.
Speaking after inaugurating the Tribal Cultural Building constructed under the Integrated Tribal District Project at Gulabi Gaon (Bhintghar) in Kalwan tehsil of the district, he said the tribals here are looking for development opportunities, which have been made available to them through laws like the Provisions of the Panchayats (Extension to the Scheduled Areas) Act.
Apart from this, they can cultivate forest lands, he said and added that the tribals can take advantage of the area as it is blessed with nature.
