New Delhi, Feb 4 (UNI) The Lok Sabha was adjourned for the third time on Thursday amid sloganeering by Opposition Members, demanding repeal of the three farm laws.
Soon after the House reassembled at 1800 hrs after the second adjournment, the Opposition members entered the Well and continued to raise slogans over the issue in the House.
Rajendra Agrawal, who was presiding the House, tried to pacify the agitated Members and asked them to return to their seats.
However the sloganeering continued, forcing the Chair to adjourn the House till 1900 hrs.
Earlier in the day also, the Lok Sabha was adjourned two times over the same issue.
Soon after the House reassembled at 1700 hrs after the first adjournment, the Opposition members entered the Well and continued to raise slogans over the issue in the House.
Amid raising of slogans by the Opposition, the Papers were laid on the table and the Arbitration and Conciliation (Amendment) Bill, 2021 was introduced in the Lok Sabha by Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.
Meenakshi Lekhi, who was presiding the House, tried to pacify the agitated Members and asked them to return to their seats.
However, the sloganeering continued, forcing the Chair to adjourn the House till 1800 hrs.
