    Silver futures ease on weak spot demand

    Silver futures traded lower by Rs 1,136 at Rs 67,429 per kg on Thursday, as participants cut down their bets on a weak demand in the spot market.

    On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for the March delivery dropped by Rs 1,136, or 1.66 per cent, to Rs 67,429 per kg in a business turnover of 12,856 lots.

    In the international market, silver fell 1.82 per cent to USD 26.40 an ounce in New York.
