What generally happens on birthdays is that your loved ones bring a big smile on your face with the numerous surprises they have in store for you on your special day. For actress-turned-politician Urmila Matondkar, birthdays are all about giving to those who are not as privileged and making them smile. Lavish dinners and parties at luxury hotels have never been her thing. And as Urmila turns a year older, yet again, she continues to follow the tradition she has been following since she was a kid - donating to charitable causes. The actress and husband Mohsin Akhtar Mir celebrated her birthday with elderly people and orphans amid huge fanfare and gaiety. The birthday girl looked like a vision in an all-white ensemble. In the video, Urmila is seen having a great time in the company of her admirers. Besides cutting her birthday cake with the little ones from the orphanage, Urmila also gave a special performance for everyone present in the form of a song.
