New Delhi, Feb. 4 (UNI) India on Thursday said the onus was on Pakistan for creating an environment free of terror, hostility and violence to enable normal neighbourly relations with it.
Asked for his comments on Pakistani Army Chief General Bajwa's reported pitch for peace where he was quoted as having said that it was time to extend hand of peace in ``all directions', the official spokesperson of Ministry of External Affairs Anurag Srivastav said that India's position on it was well known.
``India desires normal neighbourly relations with Pakistan in an environment free of terror, hostility and violence. The onus is on Pakistan for creating such an environment,' the spokesperson said in his weekly media briefing held in virtual format.
