Seems like there's another baby on the way. After Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli welcomed their daughter Vamika on January 11 and Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan are all set for the arrival of their second child, now, singer Harshdeep Kaur has announced that she is expecting her first child with husband Mankeet Singh.

The 'Dilbaro' singer on Thursday took to Twitter to announce the happy news.

Kaur posted two pictures with the caption, "So excited to meet this little baby who is half me and half the one I love the most Junior Kaur/Singh arriving in March 2021. Need your Blessings (sic)."

In the first photo, Harshdeep is seen sporting a floral printed dress cradling her baby bump as she smiles for the camera. In another, she is seen with husband Mankeet, both looking extremely happy sharing the news with the world.

Take a look at Harshdeep's tweet here:

Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview with Bombay Times, harshed was quoted saying, "Yes, I am in my final trimester and just a month away from my delivery. My husband Mankeet and I are very private people. Last year, due to the entire COVID-19 crisis, there was a very limited scope and opportunity to socialise. So, we ended up being quite guarded about the pregnancy because of the circumstances. We have no reason to be secretive about news like this. We just didn't make an official announcement. But, I'm happy to confirm that yes, there's a baby on the way and we couldn't be happier!"

Harshdeep’s husband, Mankeet told the portal, "We have been married for five years. When COVID-19 and the lockdown struck last year, it presented us with the time to plan our family."

He added, "Despite all the challenges that the world was and is still encountering, this was our silver lining. I am particularly happy that she got to rest and stay at home all through her pregnancy, given our hectic travel schedules through the year. We haven't shared this amazing news publicly, which is why this might come as a surprise to many."

Harshdeep is a popular playback singer known for chartbusters like 'Dilbaro', 'Zaalima', 'Heer' and 'Katiya Karun' among others.
