Telia teams up with Konecranes for port handling safety pilot using video over 5G

Telia Company said it has begin a pilot scheme with port services provider Konecranes in Finland to test and develop automated port operation functions using 5G. The aim is to increase efficiency and safety. In the trial, a video camera mounted on a forklift truck relays images for analysis and can spot obstacles that the driver misses.
