Infinix Smart 5 smartphone with 6,000 mAh battery to launch in India on February 11
NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Infinix is all set to launch its first smartphone of the year in India. The company has confirmed that it will launch the Infinix Smart 5 smartphone in the country on February 11. The smartphone is expected to be priced under Rs 8,000 and will be exclusively available online on Flipkart.
Rumours suggest that the Infinix Smart 5 is the rebranded version of Infinix Hot 10 Play which the company recently launched in the Philippines. The smartphone will come in two colour options — Aegean Blue and Morandi Green.
Infinix Hot 10 Play specifications
The Infinix Hot 10 Play is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone offers 32GB internal storage which can be expanded further by installing a microSD card. The smartphone sports a 6.82-inch HD+ display with 720x1640 pixel resolution. The smartphone runs Android 10 (Go Edition) of the operating system.
The dual SIM smartphone comes equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Infinix Hot 10 Play features a dual rear camera setup with 13MP main sensor and a secondary AI lens with quad flash support. The front is home to an 8MP selfie shooter.
The handset is backed by a 6000mAh battery which promises to deliver up to 53 hours of talktime.
Recently, Infinix launched the Zero 8i smartphone in India at Rs 14,999. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T processor paired with Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU. Infinix Zero 8i packs 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage which can expand up to 256GB by adding a microSD card.
