Due to the outbreak of coronavirus in 2020, several production houses had to postpone the release of their big-ticket films. But, with Indian theatres now allowed to operate at 100 per cent occupancy, producers are looking at the best dates to release their movies. Monster Hunter - February 5
The fantasy movie, based on video game developer and publisher Capcom's popular franchise of the same name, stars Milla Jovovich in the lead role. It is directed and written by Paul WS Anderson. During an interaction with indianexpress.com, Anderson promised a breathtaking big-screen experience for anybody who chooses to go watch Monster Hunter in theatres. He said, “I think we’ve created a whole new world to immerse an audience. Tom and Jerry - February 19
The Tim Story directorial stars Chloe Grace Moretz, Michael Pena, Rob Delaney, Colin Jost, and Ken Jeong. The story revolves around Tom the cat and Jerry the mouse getting thrown out of their home and relocating to a fancy New York hotel where Moretz’s character is an employee who will lose her job if she doesn’t evict Jerry. Raya and the Last Dragon - March 5

The Alexander Skarsgård and Millie Bobby Brown-starrer is helmed by Adam Wingard. The film brings together two of the most popular monsters in cinema: Godzilla and King Kong.
