CA monitors call quality at Telkom, Airtel Kenya

The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) has placed Airtel Kenya and Telkom Kenya under watch for telecom service quality, Business Daily reported. The industry regulator said the two mobile operators failed to meet the minimum 80 percent threshold for quality of calls in 33 counties in the year to June 2020. Telkom Kenya scored an average mark of 73 percent while Airtel had 52 percent, in the survey conducted in 2020. Safaricom scored an overall mark of 92 percent.
