Mobile clinics to be set up for rural women: Tope

Mumbai, Feb 3 (UNI) A state-of-the-art mobile clinic for women in rural areas of the state, including Mumbai, will be set up soon through the National Health Mission, state Health Minister Rajesh Tope told reporters here on Wednesday.

This facility will be especially for pregnant women to leave them safely at home. It will offer mobile clinic tests, sonography and obstetrics, he said.

In rural areas, each district will have two mobile clinics. Mr Tope also said that more growth will be done in Mumbai including rural areas and this will have a good effect.

Meanwhile,Mr Tope also informed that it will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister Uddav Thackeray or his wife Rashmi Thackeray
