The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) have extended the last date to submit the application fees for Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) examination 2021.
The HSSC exam candidates can visit gbshse.gov.in and submit the fees till February 5. Previously, the last date to pay the application fees was January 30.
The Goa Board will not be taking any late fees in this extension period.
Although the fees have to be submitted on the GBSHSE website, the payment status of the students and the entire application process will be handled by the respective schools of the candidates.
The Goa Board was forced to delay the conduct of both SSC and HSSC exams due to the ongoing Corona pandemic. These exams are going to be conducted in offline mode, with the candidates having to go physically to their designated exam centre in order to appear for the same.
The details about the admit cards and exam centres will be released on the official website of the Goa Board soon.
The HSSC students will have their practical exams from April 1, followed by the theory papers. The HSSC exam is slated to begin from April 26 and continue till May 15. On the other hand, the SSC exam will be conducted from May 13 to May 31.
The Goa Board has instructed schools to conduct the final exams for Class IX and Class XI students by April 24, 2021.
