Bollywood producer Bunty Walia’s father Pirthi Paul Singh passed away on January 31. While his funeral and last rites were held at a crematorium in Mumbai on the same day, now a prayer meeting for the filmmaker’s late father was held at a gurdwara in Khar, Mumbai. The meeting was attended by close family members and several celebrities, including Abhishek Bachchan, Raveena Tandon, Siddhanth Kapoor. Apart from this, other family members and friends were also papped at the venue while following social distancing owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier on January 31, other stars including Sanjay Dutt, Mouni Roy, Abhishek Bachchan, and more were spotted arriving at Walia’s residence to extend their condolences to the ace filmmaker. On the work front, Bunty Walia has been a part of Bollywood for a long time. He has produced several movies, such as ‘Maine Dil Tujhko Diya’, ‘Ek Ajnabee’, ‘Lamhaa’ and ‘Chowky’. The producer started his journey with the 1998-film Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, featuring Arbaaz Khan, Salman Khan and Dharmendra. On the personal front, Walis married actor Suman Ranganathan in 2006. However, they split in May 2007. And, now, he is married to Vanessa Parmar. The duo, who married in 2012, share two kids. For the unversed, Abhishek and Bunty Walia are co-owners of the Kabaddi team Jaipur Pink Panthers, which participates in Pro Kabbadi League. Back in December 2020, Abhishek released a docu-series 'Sons Of The Soil: Jaipur Pink Panthers' that follows the story of his team. The documentary was released on streaming on an OTT platform.
