Meanwhile, another report said that city police commissioner Vivek Phansalkar was among 30 police personnel who were given the Covid-19 vaccine at a camp held in neighbouring Kalwa town, stated an official release by the city police.
In a related development, the Thane Municipal Corporation claimed that it has achieved 114.95 per cent vaccination of Health workers of the TMC as of Feb 2.
It had so far vaccinated 10,116 health workers as against target of 8,800 thorough 88 sessions.
In the coming days, the number of vaccination centres would be increased to cover all other citizens, a release by TMC said.
