Opposition stages walk-out in RS demanding debate on farm laws; Sanjay Raut to visit Singhu border today

A day after Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented Budget 2021-22, the Rajya Sabha witnessed a high drams over the three contentious farm laws. The Opposition MPs staged a walk-out in the Upper House demanding debate over the fresh farm laws passed during the Monsoon session in 2020. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut will be visiting Singhu border today. The Sena leader tweeted that Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has asked him to meet the Kisans.
