Irish govt announces EUR 193 million funding for SFI Research Centres

The Irish government has announced EUR 193 million of funding over a 6-year period for five Science Foundation Ireland Research Centres. The centres will conduct research in a wide range of areas including telecoms networks, smart cities, cyber security, artificial intelligence, e-health, smart medical devices, ethics and data privacy.
