Budget 2021-22 was presented on February 01, 2021 amid a challenging macro environment.

With the first decline in nominal/real gross domestic product in four decades, the Government of India had to walk the tightrope, which they seem to have done.

Though there is no large fiscal stimulus, the absence of any tax hikes and better fiscal math by this renewed and bold GoI provides extreme comfort.
