Reebok and Montreal based Dime have partnered once again for their forthcoming Dime x Reebok BB4000. This comes after the brands Fall’20 collaboration in December for Kamikaze II Low. For Spring ‘21, the Dime x Reebok BB4000 style includes skate and basketball shoes presented uniquely with two iterative takes on the low-cut court model.
“Tapping into Reebok’s fitness heritage and classic silhouettes was ideal for a brand like ours rooted in skateboarding. The design aesthetics of the BB4000 lend themselves well to functional skateboarding footwear. This seemed like a natural evolution after our inaugural Reebok basketball campaign,” Dime’s Phil Lavoie and Vincent Tsang, said in a press release.
Designed for those who appreciate the finer things, the pack offers crisp white/navy (Q47373) and subtle brown/black (Q47374) BB4000 executions. Paying homage equally to Reebok’s traditional leather uppers and a skate-functional suede respectively, these materialisations further cement and compliment the partnership.
Key to the model is the Dime “Restoration” woven tongue label graphic nodding to the world-famous painting and viral subject “Ecco Hommo” created by an amateur painter from Borja, Spain.
Shoes will be available exclusively from Dime on February 6 before its wider global release on February 12 from Reebok.com and select retailers.
