Covid-19: Global tally crosses 10.3 crore

Washington, Feb 2 (UNI) The Global covid-19 cases have crossed 10.3 crore-mark and the virus has till now claimed more than 22.37 lakh lives, while over 5.72 crore people have recovered so far.

As per latest data released by the US based John Hopkins University, in the 192 countries of the world, the number of infections have increased to 103,395,781 while 22,3 7,294 patients have succumbed to it.

The United States continues to be the worst affected country as the tally here has crossed 2.63 crore, while the total fatalities has crossed 4.43 lakhs.

Covid-19 infection tally in India has gone past 10,76 6,000, while more than 10,4 48,000 people have recovered from the ailment. The death toll stands at 1,54,486.



In Brazil, more than 92.29 lakh people have been affected by the virus and approximately 2.25 lakh have succumbed.

Overall coronavirus infections in Britain have gone past 38.4 6 lakhs while 106,7 74 have lost their battle.

In Russia, number of Corona infections has gone past 38.28 lakhs while 72,456 people have died due to the virus.

Approximately 32.60 lakh people in France have been infected by the virus while 76,657 of them succumbed.

In Spain, till now more than 28.22 people have been infected by the virus and 59,081 have succumbed.
