- BSE Sensex is trading at 49,842.44 up 1241.83 points or 2.56%
- Nifty50 is currently trading at 14,646.15 up 364.95 points or 2.56%. Nifty Bank is trading up 3.62% at 34286.60 while Mid-cap Index is up by 2.86%.
- Tata Motors, Shree Cement, Grasim, Ultratech Cement and SBIN are the top gainers while HDFC Life, Bajaj Finserv, Hero MotoCorp, Reliance and SBI Life are the top losers.
- Nifty Auto, Media, Banking and Financial Services (all over 3% higher) drive the afternoon trade while Nifty FMCG stocks are at the bottom, but marginally higher.
- Out of 50 stocks traded on the NSE, 43 advanced and 7 declined.
