Full India, Eng team commence net session ahead of first Test

Chennai, Feb 2 (UNI) After completing the mandatory six day
quarantine period and after three RT-PCR tests, which returned
negative, the full Indian team members had their first session
at the nets at the M A Chidambaram Stadium ahead of the first
of the two tests on February five.
The practice session commenced with Team Head Coach Ravi
Shastri giving a rousing address to the team members.
Skipper Virat Kohli also addressed the team members before
the players hit the net session.
BCCI in a tweet along with the photos of net session, said
''#TeamIndia captain Vkohli speaks to the boys as our
preparations begin.#INDvENG''.
''Day 1 of our nets session in Chennai and it is Head Coach
@RaviShastri who welcomes the group with a rousing address.
#TeamIndia #INDvsENG'', it said.
"Out and about at The Chepauk after 6 days of quarantine,"
the BCCI said with the photos.
Meanwhile, the full fledged England team also had their first
net session today afternoon at the Stadium.
Chennai last hosted a test match in December 2016 when India
defeated England by an innings and 75 runs.
