Bengaluru: Two Metro lines get Rs 15,000-crore budget fuel

Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday announced the much-delayed 58km Outer Ring Road-Kempegowda International Airport Metro project. She announced Namma Metro’s Phase 2A (Silk Board to KR Puram) and 2B (KR Puram to KIA) at a cost of Rs 14,788 crore. Chennai Metro’s phase 2 spanning 118km has received a whopping Rs 63,246 crore. Bengaluru: Leopard caught 9 days after its apartment visit

A leopard that made two visits to an apartment complex on Begur Road in Yelenahalli in south Bengaluru in the latter half of January was rescued from the same locality early Monday.
