Now, the latest update is that The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Tuesday detained assistant film director Rishikesh Pawar in connection with the drug case linked to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Rishikesh Pawar was Sushant's friend and his name came forward during an interrogation of other accused arrested earlier in the case. The official revealed that the questioning of Pawar is underway at the NCB’s office. The official also said, "Pawar was detained by the Mumbai zonal team of the NCB after various summons were issued to him." Rishikesh Pawar’s residence was earlier raided by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and they had seized some gadgets. Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his flat in Bandra on June 14, 2020. Recently, we all celebrated his 35th birth anniversary on January 21. It was Sushant's first birthday after his tragic demise. Sushant Singh Rajput's sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, took to her social media handle to wish her dearest brother. She shared a collage of her memories with her 'bhai'. She also shared a message for all astrophysics enthusiasts out there. It was the late actor's dream to send some students to study physics or provide funds for them. Shweta Singh Kirti shared a post in which she revealed that The Sushant Singh Rajput Memorial Fund has been set up in Berkeley and those wishing to pursue Astrophysics at UC Berkeley can apply for the funds.
"I am happy to announce that on 35th Birthday of Bhai, a step has been taken towards fulfilling one of his dreams. The Sushant Singh Rajput Memorial Fund of $35,000 has been set up in UC Berkeley. Anyone who is interested in pursuing Astrophysics at UC Berkeley can apply for this fund. Grateful to the Angels who made it possible. Happy Birthday my little Brother, I hope you always stay happy wherever you are! Love You #SushantDay," she wrote in the caption. She also posted the link address for the students to avail the scholarship.
