Imphal, February 01 2021: As a part of the three day National Pulse Polio Programme 2021 lauched by the President Ram Nath Kovind on 30 January, Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) conducted Polio Immunization drives at Imphal, Keithelmanbi, Kakching, Thoubal, Churachandpur, and Pallel districts of Manipur yesterday.

Pulse polio drop administration kiosks and vaccination camps were established by the Assam Rifles troops along with CHC and PHC at various locations in Manipur as part of the nation wide campaign.

More than 650 children were administered polio drops and vaccine by joint efforts of Assam Rifles and Government Health Agencies of Manipur.
