Thane: Youth killed by friend over Rs 400 dispute in Ulhasnagar

ULHASNAGAR: A youth was allegedly killed by his friend over a monetary dispute of Rs 400 at Ulhasnagar in Maharashtra's Thane district on Tuesday.
Faim Shaikh — while being beaten up by the accused — got hit by a pole following which he died on spot.
The entire incident was captured on a CCTV camera installed in the area.
The Hill Line police said the accused, Sonu Gupta, had given Rs 400 to his friend Shaikh.
The accused, on Tuesday afternoon, demanded his money back from Shaikh which he refused to give resulting into the dispute.
Police said, during the dispute Gupta got furious and he manhandled Shaikh who got hit by a pole and died on spot.
The CCTV footage shows that during the scuffle some friends, including the brother of Shaikh, tried to stop both during fighting.
Police arrested Gupta under murder charges.
