Gorlier has held top jobs at Fiat brand and Mopar. In his latest role, he will share responsibility for growing the group's parts and services businesses.

PARIS -- Stellantis has appointed Pietro Gorlier as head of its parts and services business.

Previously Gorlier was head of Fiat Chrysler's Europe business and chief operating officer of Mopar, FCA's parts and service organization.

With the change, Gorlier is now no longer responsible for the operational side of FCA's cars and vans business in Europe but he has added the global responsibility of PSA Group's parts and service operations.

Gorlier, 58, will report to Philippe de Rovira, chief affiliates officer at Stellantis. He will share responsibility with the group’s brands for growing the parts and services businesses, as well as delivery and customer support, Stellantis said in a news release on Monday.

Gorlier started his automotive career at truck maker Iveco in 1991 and worked there for 15 years before moving to Fiat in 2006 as a vice president for network developmen

He worked at the CNH subsidiary from 2007 to 2009, when he became president and CEO of Mopar, a job he continued to hold until the creation of Stellantis on Jan. 16 after the merger of FCA and PSA.

Gorlier became head of supplier Magneti Marelli in 2015, a job he held until 2018, when he was named chief operating officer for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region at FCA.

Gorlier is among a number of former top FCA executives eligible to receive a one-time payout in the Stellantis merger, according to the Stellantis share prospectus.
