Synopsis

Given the pandemic, the budget has raised allocation on healthcare by a huge 137% y-o-y. Over and above this, there are significant outlays announced on the Jal Jeevan and Swachh Bharat missions. The allocation for improving air quality and the scrapping policy for vehicles will also contribute to improving public health.
