House gutted in fire in HP's Nohradhar

Shimla Feb 2 (UNI) A two-storey house was gutted in a fire in the Nohradhar area of Himachal Pradesh's Sirmaur district on Tuesday.

Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sangrah, Shakti Singh said that fire broke out in the house of a

primary school teacher Raghuvir Singh.

Raghuvir, who suffered burn injuries in the incident, was rushed to Sangrah hospital.

The blaze raged after LPG gas cylinder also caught fire and exploded, the DSP added.

Valuables of Raghuvir worth lakhs were reduced to ashes.

The cause of fire is being ascertained.
