Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the budget for the third consecutive time today. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman focused most on health and infrastructure in the budget. Today was recorded in the pages of the history of the Indian Parliament with Sitharaman presenting the budget. In the paperless budget presented in Parliament, Sitharaman made several announcements for banking, education, insurance, and farmers.


Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the minimum support price has been increased to 1.5 times the cost of production. In the budget presented for the year 2021-22, the health sector will be allocated Rs 2.38 lakh crore. Sitharaman has also made several announcements in the field of education in the budget.

She announced that 100 new Sainik Schools would be built, with the help of NGOs, state governments, and the private sector.

During this time, she has also announced to set up a Central University in Leh, Ladakh. During the budget, Sitharaman has also announced in the railway sector. She has allocated a record amount of Rs 1,10,055 crore for the Railways in the budget.
