Following the Central Guidelines, the Jammu and Kashmir Disaster Management Committee has issued an order to open all types of educational institutions, cinema, and restaurants with full potential. Other public events, including sports, will also not be banned.

However, the compulsion to conduct corona test on entry by air, rail, and road from other states to Jammu and Kashmir will continue. The decision on the restoration of inter-state bus service has also not been done. According to the order, all 20 districts of the state have been kept in a green zone.

Only the 500-meter radius at Lakhanpur, the gateway to Jammu and Kashmir, and both ends of the Jawahar Tunnel on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway are placed in the Red Zone category. The daily number of devotees of Mata Vaishno Devi has been increased to 25 thousand. The Jammu and Kashmir Disaster Management Committee under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary BVR Subramaniam has issued instructions after reviewing the current status of infection in the state.

All educational institutions in Jammu and Kashmir will be able to open from Monday but have to follow the Kovid protocol. There will be no restriction on the movement of passengers by road, rail and air. Only an antigen test will have to be done. The District Deputy Commissioners have been instructed to review the cases of Kovid 19 every week and to focus on sampling, especially in schools.
