These goons are not farmers of India but rich, subsidy fattened farmers and their unruly followers from Punjab and Haryana ! Of course they do not care about the budget. Government should do what is in National and long term interest and hold firm. If RAGA and the TMCs come in act with force.

Too much! I hope Captain Amrinder Singh is a reasonable person. Now Centre must tell Punjab CM to talk to own farmers on how the laws are only OPTIONAL- Or, it is not at all COMPULSORY and Punjab farmers will continue to follow old types of middle men enabled farms produce purchases paying MSP that is being declared by CENTRE , time-to-time. If Centre calls Punjab CM for discussions, I think he will have to hoour; and after the meet let Agri Minster tell a Press-conference on how Punjab farmers will be taken care-of by BENEVOLENT Punjab CM, who will fully promise to keep the STATUS-QUO. No questions at all. But the farmers on dharna are not sole spokemen of whole of India's farming community.. They can not steal someone else bread & increased wealth, by devious hartals.
