If you pre-order the PS5 version of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales at brick-and-mortar stores in India, you will get an exclusive pre-order bonus. Multiple Sony Centers speaking to IGN India have confirmed that offline stores will be giving a fridge magnet along with all pre-orders of the game on PS5. This is par for the course for Sony for its big exclusive releases. Pre-purchashing Ghost of Tsushima at your local game store for example, netted you a t-shirt while Death Stranding pre-orders included an RFID card holder.
As we’ve mentioned, this is only for the pre-ordering the PS5 version of Miles Morales (either Standard or Ultimate) and at offline game stores only. So if you shop at Amazon or Flipkart, you’re out of luck. We’ve reached out to Sony India for comment and will update this story if we hear from the company.
Previously, IGN India reported that the Ultimate Edition of Miles Morales would be making it to India. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition PS5 includes Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered for Rs. 4,999. The Miles Morales PS5 Standard Edition price is Rs. 3,999.
Considering the 2018 PS4 release of Spider-Man was one of Sony’s best-selling games of the generation in India, it’s heartening to see the company take the country seriously enough to ensure one of its biggest games sees a proper release with all editions available at retail.
