South African communications minister Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams has invited the public to nominate potential candidates to serve on the board of directors of Broadband Infraco (BBI), ITWeb reported. State-owned wholesale infrastructure provider BBI is an entity of the Department of Communications and Digital Technologies (DCDT), which is overseen by Ndabeni-Abrahams. Board members will serve on a part-time basis for up to three years, subject to annual performance assessments and the merger of BBI and Sentech, with remuneration as per guidelines approved by the minister.
