BBK-owned Smartphone brand OnePlus is soon going to launch a new budget handset, called OnePlus Nord N1 5G, claims popular tipster Max Jambor.

As per his report, this alleged handset is going to be the successor to the Nord N10 5G, which is priced at $299 (approximately Rs 21,800) making it among the least expensive handsets from the brand.

Given the fact that the OnePlus Nord N10 5G was launched in the second half of 2020, it can be assumed that the wait for the OnePlus Nord N1 5G could still be a little longer. As expected, the company is set to launch the OnePlus 9 series first.

As per previous reports, the OnePlus 9 series is expected to include three handsets — OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9 Lite.

The OnePlus 9 Lite is set to come powered by Snapdragon 865 SoC — unlike the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro — that are expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 888 SoC.

The most recent claim that was made for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro handsets was that the two will be lightweight models weighing less than 200 grams and both are likely to house a 3.8mm single punch hole in the top-left corner of the screen. Also, both are said to house a 4500mAh battery with support for wireless charging.

In terms of differences, the tipster has apparently claimed that the OnePlus 9 Pro will feature a curved display of 6.78-inch with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate and the OnePlus 9 will come with a flat-screen of 6.55-inch of FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
