1. Glenn Maxwell –

The Australian all-rounder, who was bought for a hefty price tag of Rs 10.75 crore, failed to perform with the bat in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The 33-year-old could only manage 108 runs in 11 innings for the Kings XI Punjab.

2. Tymal Mills –

The England pacer was bought for Rs 12 crore by the Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2017. He played five matches and managed only five wickets. It was his only season in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

3. Yuvraj Singh –

When Kings XI Punjab picked Yuvraj Singh in the first few seasons, he was hitting sixes. But over the years, he failed to do well in numerous IPL seasons. In 2016, Yuvraj got Rs 16 crore, but he contributed only 248 runs with the bat in 14 matches.

4. Eoin Morgan –

One of the best skippers to have led the England Cricket Team, Eoin Morgan failed to do well with the bat in the IPL (barring last season). And his recent leadership role at the KKR didn’t help either. The 34-year-old has managed to score just 1272 runs in 66 IPL matches.

5. Thisara Perera –

The Sri Lanka all-rounder has played for as many as six franchises in the IPL. He was bought for more than Rs 3crore in three consecutive seasons. But after playing 37 matches, he could only manage 422 runs and 31 wickets. Except in 2013, he never got going in the popular T20 league.
