With the launch of the iPhone 12 range, Apple brought back a feature we've all missed: MagSafe. Except, it's not quite in the form we remember.
In its original iteration, MagSafe was a nifty way to keep the charging cable secured to a MacBook, without potentially sending your beloved laptop flying were you to trip over the cord.
Now, MagSafe allows your iPhone 12 to magnetically snap into place on that handy wireless charging pad – which means your phone will get properly charged each time, without you having to fuss around to ensure it's on the sweet spot.
Another win: MagSafe also charges faster at 15W instead of the standard 7.5W of Qi charging.
