Madhya Pradesh Tourism recently held a Virtual Road Show for Pune Travel Agents and Tour Operators. Madhya Pradesh is the Heart of Incredible India and is honored and privileged to host this Virtual Road Show. Madhya Pradesh has always offered a variety of attractions to those who love traveling. It has wildlife hotspots with 11 national parks and 24 wildlife sanctuaries with rich flora and fauna. “The Tiger State of India” was also recently crowned as the “Leopard State” for having the highest number of leopard count.
MPTB is working strategically towards attracting more domestic tourists, promoting new travel circuits in different segments to the tourists exploring heritage, culture, adventure, wildlife, spiritual, rural & wellness destinations. It is expected that the road show will encourage curiosity in the travel agents and tour operators and they will lead their guests to explore and experience Madhya Pradesh.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Sonia Meena, IAS, Addl. Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board said, “We are in the process to build the confidence and trust amongst the travelers we have launched various campaigns during lockdown with the intention of keeping in touch with travelers & our partners to ensure them that all the norms for safety against COVID-19 are being followed”.
The pandemic has changed travel preferences of tourists. Madhya Pradesh is a versatile state offering a variety of tourism products, activity filled tourist destinations, wildlife safaris, natural scenic beauty, adventure activities, camping, water sports, cuisines, heritage, tribal culture, handicrafts, wellness and mindful tourism and many more things to explore and experience. Madhya Pradesh has also developed home stay, gram stay and farm stay options so that tourists can stay and experience rural culture and traditions of the State.
