How to transfer WhatsApp Chat to Telegram
Cloud-based messaging app Telegram has given another reason to users to make a switch from WhatsApp. As part of the recent update, the messaging app has added a functionality which will enable WhatsApp users to transfer their individual and group chats to Telegram. So, if you are also planning to switch to Telegram and want your WhatsApp chat there, then follow the below-mentioned steps.
Things to remember
1. Note that you will have to export chats individually and this will work for WhatsApp groups as well. Messages will be imported into the current day but will also include their original timestamps. This means you will not have to worry about incorrect dates and times of your chats.
2. All members of the chat on Telegram will see the messages.
3. When you move messages and media files from WhatsApp to Telegram don’t occupy extra space.
4. The good thing is that the chat gets exported for both parties-- you and the person with whom you were earlier chatting on WhatsApp.

Open WhatsApp on your smartphone

Now open the chat you wish to transfer to Telegram

Now click on the three dot menu placed on the top right corner of the chat window

You will now notice a drop down window, from there tap on more

After this, you have to tap on the 'Export' option

The app will now ask you whether you want to include the media files in the chat export. You can select yes of no as per your need.

After selecting any one option, you will notice a share menu and in that you have to tap on Telegram to start the process.

After tapping on Telegram, the cloud-based messaging app will open and will ask you to select the chat in which you want to see the WhatsApp chat.

You can select the chat and then click on import and this will transfer your WhatsApp chat to Android.
