Montenegro mobile base contracts 6% in 2020, broadband subscribers up 3%

Montenegro ended 2020 with 1.08 million mobile telephony users, corresponding to a 174.20 percent penetration rate. The number of users was down by 0.18 percent compared with November and by 6.16 percent year-on-year, according to the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Activity. Of the total, 57.89 percent were postpaid users (625,217), with pre-paid accounting for 42.11 percent (454,872).
