TIM publishes details of FiberCop co-investment project

Telecom Italia (Tim) has published further details of a plan open to all operators to roll out a secondary fibre-optic access network across the Italian territory. Under the terms of the plan published on TIM's dedicated wholesale website and submitted to communications regulator Agcom, last-mile infrastructure will be upgraded to reach households and businesses in 1,610 localities across the country by 2025 under the FiberCop venture unveiled last year that is 58 percent owned by TIM, 37.5 percent by KKR Infrastructure and 4.5 percent by Fastweb.
