- Poco X3 Pro is likely to feature interesting specs.
After going independent, Poco has launched a number of phones in India. One of these is the Poco X3 which brought with itself an interesting spec sheet and an aggressive price tag. However, the phone maker now looks set to take things a notch up as the latest leaks suggest it could be set to launch a more powerful variant of the device, the Poco X3 Pro.
The Poco X3 Pro has been certified by FCC revealing some key details about the device. Interestingly, this is the first time when we have received some credible information about the device. Another interesting thing to note is that this handset has previously cleared other certifications like IMDA, EEC, and TÜV Rheinland with model number M2102J20SG.
As per the certification, the Poco X3 Pro will come with 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, and will run MIUI 12 operating system. Apart from this, nothing else is known about the device. But it can be expected that the phone offers similar specs to the Poco X3 upon its launch.
To remind our readers, as for as the specifications go, the Poco X3 comes to India with a bigger battery and no NFC as compared to the global variant of the device. But apart from these additions, the rest of the features remain the same, as the Poco X3 Indian variant features pretty much an identical spec sheet to the one found on the Poco X3's international avatar.
This is because the Poco X3 brings a 6.67-inch display that's capable of churning out Full HD+ resolution and running at a fast 120Hz refresh rate with 240mss touch sampling rate while doing so. The panel here is an IPS LCD one, with the company opting against going with an AMOLED panel to keep costs in check.
Under the hood, we have Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 732G chipset which the company claims brings substantial performance gains over last year's Snapdragon 730G. Interestingly, this is also the first phone to use this chip, so this should give the Poco X3 a definite advantage over its competitors.
