Courts in Thane, Palghar to resume from Feb 1

Thane, Jan 31 (UNI) The Principal District and Sessions Judge, Thane, RM Joshi has in an order issued on Saturday directed that all the courts in Judicial district of Thane, ( Thane and Palghar Districts) will resume regular activities from February 01.

The order states that the regular physical functioning of all courts will start with effect from February 01.

The timings of Judicial working will be 11.oo a.m. to 2.00 p.m. and 2.45 p.m. to 5.45 p.m.

All the safety precautionary measures, put in place by the High court and the governments from time to time to avoid the spread of Coronavirus during the regular physical functioning of courts, shall continue to operate till further order, the order by the PDJ stated.

The High court order also stated that 100% earlier approved disposal norms will also be applied to the courts.

Consequent upon the this order of the Thane PDJ the Thane District Courts Bar Association has informed its members that the bar room itself will function between 10.45 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. only

The members have been asked to strictly follow all the norms and protocol set during the pandemic while appearing in the courts.
