A joint team of security forces has destroyed a hideout of militants in the thick forests of Gadog in the Khawas area and recovered a cache of weapons. This has dealt a major blow to the attempts by the militants to revive terrorism in Rajouri and Reasi districts.
The recovered weapons include one AK 47, three magazines, 94 cartridges, two China-made pistols, two magazines, five UBGL grenades, and explosives. Apart from this, a radio set, three radio antennae have also been found.
