Proper planning for Marathi literary meet necessary: minister

Nashik, Jan 31 (UNI) In addition to Rs 50 lakh sanctioned by the Maharashtra government for upcoming All India Marathi Sahitya Sammelan to be held in city, additional help will also be given from the MLA fund, assured Food, Civil Supplies and District Guardian Minister Chhagan Bhujbal on Sunday.

Speaking in a meeting organized here in connection with the planning of the Sahitya Sammelan, he suggested that a thorough planning should go into organizing the event in the next 50 days.

He instructed to form all the necessary committees for the meeting as soon as possible.

Mr Bhujbal further suggested that for strict planning of the meeting, officers from police administration, district administration, Zilla Parishad, Health department, Municipal Corporation, MSEDCL, etc, will be appointed as Coordinating officers.

Also, the instructions given in connection with the meeting should be implemented properly, he said.

To make the event a grand success, every citizen should participate in this festival with fervour, the Guardian Minister further said.

He appealed every citizen to erect a Gudi of this honour at his house during the literary meet.

Mr Bhujbal reminded everyone present in today's meeting that since the corona crisis is not over yet, all Covid-19 restrictions should be strictly followed during the convention.
