After Xiaomi, Motorola remote charging device surfaced online in a video

The existing wireless charging technology isn’t that effective and practical when it comes to functionality. It has been a long due argument that they aren’t truly wireless because the devices are supposed to stay on the top of a wireless charger.
Xiaomi recently showcased its remote wireless charging device based on 5G mmWave technology that can charge smartphones and other compatible devices as soon as you enter your room or house without placing it on the charging station.
Now, Motorola has shown off the same. XDA Developers spotted a demo video posted by the company demonstrating a remote wireless charging device named Motorola Hyper One.
The video shows two unknown smartphones placed beyond 100cm range or the Hyper One. One phone was picked up and placed at the 100cm mark it began charging. The other phone was then placed at the 80 cm mark from the charger and it also started charging.
This shows that the Hyper One wireless charger can charge the device within 100cm radius.
Apart from this, the Motorola demo video also shows that both devices stopped charging once a hand is placed in Hyper One. This could be due to the limitation of 5G mmWave technology.
The video does not reveal any details about the charging speed, however, Xiaomi has revealed that their remote charging device will offer 5W charging speed which is relatively slower compared to the standard wireless charging pads
