Uttar Pradesh on high alert after blast near Israel embassy

LUCKNOW: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath has directed UP police to sound a high alert in the state, following the blast near the Israeli embassy in New Delhi on Friday.
He also directed district magistrates, senior superintendents of police and police commissioners to raise vigil at religious places and other sensitive areas of districts. He also directed the police to intensify patrolling.
ADG, law and order, Prashant Kumar said, checking and surveillance is being conducted by police across the state at bus stops, railway stations and other sensitive areas.
