LATIMER COUNTY, Okla. — The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) has arrested a spouse and her husband in reference to a murder-for-hire plot.
According to OSBI, Courtney Deatherage, 25, and her husband Dustin Deatherage, 26, each face solicitation of murder costs in reference to the plot.
OSBI investigators say Courtney reached out to a household pal in Texas and requested if that particular person would kill her ex-husband.
They agreed to $250 down and one other $250 when it was executed. Courtney additionally agreed to offer the gun.
The particular person contacted regulation enforcement and reported the state of affairs.
On Jan. 22, 2021, the household pal traveled from Texas to satisfy with Courtney and Dustin and the three gathered in Courtney’s automobile to finalize the deal.
