Railways to run special trains between Mangaluru and Nagercoil

MADURAI: The Railway Board has approved fully reserved daily express special trains between Mangaluru and Nagercoil through Kerala.
No 06649 Mangaluru Central - Nagercoil Junction daily special train will leave at 5.05am and reach Nagercoil Junction at 8.50 PM the same day, starting February 11.
No 06650 Nagercoil Junction - Mangaluru Central daily special train will leave at 4.05am and reach Mangaluru Central at 8.50pm the same day, starting February 12.
These trains will have a composition of two first class AC chair cars, four second class chair cars, 11 general second class and two luggage cum brake van coaches.
They have stoppages at Kasaragod, Kanhangad, Nileshwar, Payyanur, Payangadi, Kannapuram, Kannur, Tellicherry, Mahe, Vadakara, Koyilandy, Kozhikode, Feroke, Parpanagadi, Tanur, Tirur, Kuttippuram, Pattambi¸ Shoranur, Wadakancheri¸ Thrissur, Pudukad¸ Irinjalakuda¸ Chalackudi, Angamali, Aluva¸ Ernakulam Town, Triupunittura, Piravam Road, Ettumanur, Kottayam, Chenganaseri, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikara, Kayamkulam¸ Karunagapalli, Sasthankotta, Kollam, Paravur, Varkala, Kazhakuttam¸ Thiruvananthapuram Central, Neyyattinkara, Parassala, Kulitthurai and Eraniel.
Train No 06649 also has stoppages at Vallikunnu and Thiruvananthapuram Pettah.
Services of the trains will continue until further advice. Advance reservation for the special trains is open.
